Dr. Japa Khalsa
travels and teaches internationally as a Professional Teacher Trainer for Kundalini Yoga. As the co-author of Enlightened Bodies, she brings an awareness of the human body’s potential to self heal in her work.
Her studies of energy medicine, yoga and herbal medicine and their role in modern healthcare began 20 years ago after her graduation from Northwestern University with a Bachelor’s of Science. She earned her next degree as a Doctor of Oriental Medicine at the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine. As a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT) her consultations are empowered with truth. Her treatments allow for in depth shifts in the frequency and pulse of an individual so they can transform the gaps in their lives. She has a special alignment with women’s health; supporting all women to be empowered through meditation, yoga and the use of specific herbs to support a woman’s health through all the times of her life.
As a second generation physician, Dr. Khalsa’s life mission is to empower each person to feel the interconnection with all the Universe and to tap into the healing power inherent in each one of us.
Enlightened Bodies
As human beings, we yearn to leave a legacy and expand beyond time and space. This desire is a central motivating force behind an optimally functioning reproductive system. The complex relationships between sex organs, energy centers, and hormones mimic the cycles of creation.
